Bill Harvey started this as a cathartic release - for years the tale has simmered inside, unknown to any but those closest to him. Some of the pieces were so outlandish he didn't think he'd be believed, and some were bound to a period of secrecy. 

When he began to go through old papers and check online sources for the book, he realized that even he hadn't known the whole story.

From a starry-eyed entrepreneur coming of age in the 60s and 70s to the beginning of the UAV industry, Bill chronicles the highs and lows of the events that led to the making of the ExDrone and the aftermath of his involvement.  Both inspirational and cautionary, this is a must-read for independent inventors.

Not one to let the bastards bring him down, he continues to pace around inventing things today. There are decades between the end of the book and now - and, having found he enjoyed the writing process,  certainly more stories.

Bill Harvey grew up in Huntington, WV, but has lived most of his life in Maryland, where he now resides with his wife, Lynn and multiple labrador retrievers.
